Pronunciation

At diphthong the pronunciation with /p/ is "proscribed". Here, it isn't. Should it be? Is it because proscription is mainly performed by amateur grammarians and they are more likely to take an interest in how the term "diphthong" is pronounced than "ophthalmology"? 83.233.199.47 07:05, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
