Etymology: old + fashion + -ed.
[edit]Shouldn't it be old + fasnioned? It surely doesn't come from old fashion + -ed... JMGN (talk) 15:23, 8 October 2024 (UTC)

Alternative spelling
[edit]According to Garner, it is always hyphenated, as are cost-effective, crystal-clear, dyed-in-the-wool, high-spirited, ill-advised, risk-averse, short-lived, time-sensitive, wild-eyed, etc. JMGN (talk) 19:50, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- Garner's Modern English Usage isn't as modern as WT. We have oldfashioned and old fashioned too, FTW P. Sovjunk (talk) 20:15, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
