@Fenakhay Could you please define this word? I don't find it in Lane, Wehr, or المعاني. The basic form قرد seems to mean "become infested with قراد" and then "to rot" in some other contexts. But what's the basis for ruling out انقرض, whose basic sense "to perish" fits almost perfectly? 89.14.180.109 10:45, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
