Etymology in Irish
[edit]@Mahagaja, could you add some citation for the etymology? Dinneen’s dictionary gives it as a form of más ea(dh): “má ’seadh, if so, if it be, nevertheless, well (introductory); al. máiseadh, maiseadh, maise, muise (which See)” and under muise indeed gives “al. maise; genly. mhuise in M. See under má”. // Silmeth @talk 19:11, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Silmethule: I don't remember where I got that etymology. Feel free to change it. —Mahāgaja · talk 19:30, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
