Talk:motherfucker
Add topicCan someone provide a citation for "fatherfucker"? I've heard "motherfucker" thousands of times but I don't think I've ever heard "fatherfucker". The closest I can think of is from Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant, where he talks of "mother-rapers . . . father-stabbers," and then for further darkly humorous effect, "father-rapers".
If nothing turns up in the next few days, I suggest we remove the reference.

"Motherfucker"
[edit]Bobby Seale, of the Black Panther party, was at pains to explain that a motherfucker was not somebody who fucked his own mother; it was someone who fucked your mother. Given the origins of the word among African-Americans, and the long legacy of slavery, I would think that is the more likely derivation. (See "Seize the Time: the Story of the Black Panther Party" by Seale.)

- Etymology: "The injury comes from the implication of somebody sleeping with their own mother, but was probably not used literally until later."
- This explanation of the etymology of the word is, I think, how a Caucasian might derive the meaning. But (given the explanation above from Bobby Seale), I think it may not be really accurate. The description "probably not used literally" is rather ambiguous.

- The injury is not from incest, but from rape.

“Motherfucker” and “Fucker” are similar and related the same
[edit]All countries worldwide would also say this in certain situations as when they’re in danger of threats to at risk. They even also say when doing their own efforts to a usage of the connotations. And any gender as well teenagers and adults says those both words IRL (In real life).
