Deletion debate
[edit]
The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process.
It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.
- (as a modifier; used attributively) Of or relating to a motel.
- motel sign
While the part of speech is correct, there is nothing semantically special about this, it is just regular attributive use of the primary motel sense. — Ungoliant (falai) 14:09, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
- Delete. Not adjective-like; cannot take "how...?", "very", etc. Equinox ◑ 14:13, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, this a property of the English language as a whole, not the word motel. Mglovesfun (talk) 14:14, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. bd2412 T 20:20, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
- Delete the adjective entry. Purely a noun modifier. Any derived terms (?) can be entered as such under the noun entry. Donnanz 20:40, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

- Delete all senses, IMO it's not an adjective anyway, just attributive use of the noun. See also the noun, sense 2. DonnanZ (talk) 23:31, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
- Delete entire adjective PoS section per DonnanZ. DCDuring (talk) 22:11, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
