i think Argentinian is not a language !
- Maybe it isn't, it could be a local dialect though. But that's not the worst of it. As far as I know Pascua means Easter. That's why I added three ??? behind it. It just comes from a list I found somewherePolyglot 15:17, 17 Dec 2003 (UTC)
- That's interesting, because my pocket Spanish dictionary gives "felices Pascuas" (or whatever the correct Spanish is) for "Happy Christmas". I thought that was a typo. Maybe the list you found somewhere used the same source.
- Unfortunately I don't know anybody from Argentina. I'll ask my Peruvian and Bolivian friends, maybe they know.Polyglot 16:57, 17 Dec 2003 (UTC)
- Collins Spanish Dict. also gives that translation, and under "Pascua" there are Pascua florida, Pascua de Resurreción, Easter; Pascua de Navidad, Christmas; Pascua de Pentecostés, Whitsun, Whitsuntide; Pascuas, Christmas holiday, Christmas time... etc. I won't quote at any greater length for copyright reasons but it seems it does definitely mean both.
