Some discussion at Talk:kağıt suggests it may be a valid spelling even though the pronunciation is that of kâğıt. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 23:09, 3 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Use of this spelling seems anomalously high for a misspelling, and native speakers have not labelled it thus. Our choice of which to lemmatise is supported by Turkish Wikipedia and BGC. I think that this is therefore resolved as is. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 00:23, 10 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
