Derivation: any connection with bolyong?

I first encountered imbolyog in the participial form imbolygó, and was struck by the similarity with bolygó. Any chance that imbolyog might reflect a compound of ing + bolyong, or whatever the root is of bolygó? ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │^{Tala við mig} 19:30, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
