- @Akaibu: Why are you doing this? I mean this is the correctly spelt out form of a commonly said word (for inflected forms). There are at least some web hits. There will only be more with … time. It will be chaotical if fünfminütig will be a lemma-form with 5-minütig an alternative form (and per pre-1996 rules 5minütig) but here 55-minütig a singular main form and so on only because somebody in dead-tree-writing times thought that only numbers lower than 13 should be written out.
- Only the word itself should be attested from usage, the presently valid spellings exist accessorily from the rules and not usage. Fay Freak (talk) 20:55, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Fay Freak Happenstance mostly, was looking to see if we had the term "55-footer" from baseball and it came up, just saw that it had no quotes and nothing popped up on google books. feel free to ignore this/mark as resolved if it's fine as currently is. Akaibu (talk) 21:05, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Akaibu Please don't waste time RFV'ing terms that clearly do exist: [1]. Theknightwho (talk) 22:06, 10 August 2024 (UTC)

- Being correctly spelt and claimed to be "commonly said" doesn't mean anything. "Only .. should be attested .." etc. is only an opinion.
Anyhow, all three forms – 55-minütig (common), 55minütig, and fünfundfünfzigminütig (somewhat uncommon) – exist, as can easily be seen for example at google books. (Note: Some results for "55minütig" actually contain "55- [line break] minütig", i.e. rather "55-minütig" than "55minütig".) Based on this and the statement "feel free to ignore this/mark as resolved if it's fine as currently is", it's: RFV-resolved. --07:01, 15 August 2024 (UTC)- The attestation requirement referring to the spelling variants rather than a combination of token-level representations is only a mereological opinion of some people. One is the lexeme, the options to write and pronounce it are lexes.
- I therefore refuse the assumption that RFVs of them mean anything. It only increases disruptability of the manpower-expensive lexicographic process. Fay Freak (talk) 13:42, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
