I found a letter dated 1772 (published in 1795) - the citation is on the citations page. Other than that, all I found was this, which is far too modern, and which I therefore suspect is either a typo for exhort or an error by a non-native speaker. Kiwima (talk) 03:28, 20 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
