Dutch. Rather rare on Google Books. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 13:30, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Unsure how much is needed for clear attestation regarding chemical names. Directly: (first hit). In compounds: 2-methyldeceen-1 (modern name: 2-methyldec-1-een), deceen-2-al-1 (modern name: dec-2-en-1-al), ceto-9-deceen-2-transo?ek (not sure what this would be). - The alkene names on that page use standard number prefixes and position interfixes with the suffix -ene replaced by -een. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 00:04, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- You should also try Google Scholar for these, restricting language to Dutch. There are about three uses of deceen among many dec een. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 00:12, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- I don't know either what the "rule" is for attestation as an component in systematic names, but the fact that we generally don't consider hyphenated compounds and phrases as a single term would imply to me that we can use these components individually as attestations of deceen. Here's another direct attestation: [1]
