Rfv-sense: the vulva. I thought it always referred specifically to the hair itself. If this sense is right, the vulva of a hairless woman could also be called a 'bush'. --Mglovesfun (talk) 18:37, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- I think like you... Bush refers to the (pubic) hair and not the vagina or the vulva... --Actarus (Prince d'Euphor) 19:05, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- I can't be sure, but there may be some [here] at bgc. DCDuring TALK 19:11, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- I think it's OK, but it probably shouldn't be a separate sense – combine them along the lines of ‘Pubic hair; loosely, the vulva’. Ƿidsiþ 20:00, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah thinking about it, I think it's ok but the two definitions overlap significantly. I'll have a look for some citations, may need a cold shower in the process. Mglovesfun (talk) 21:01, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- ‘Pubic hair; loosely, the vulva’ looks OK to me. --Actarus (Prince d'Euphor) 08:15, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

- Yeah, citations could support either sense, I agree that they overlap too much to be considered separate. Request RFV close to allow Widsith's definition to be used. --Mglovesfun (talk) 12:42, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
Striking. I've merged the two senses, since that seems to be the consensus. Feel free to adjust the wording, anyone. —RuakhTALK 20:47, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
Vulva?
[edit]What is the basis for saying that 'bush' can mean 'a woman's vulva'? Nurg (talk) 23:40, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
- On further investigation, this info was added in this Nov 2004 edit, which copied it from Wikipedia, where it had been added in this July 2004 edit and was later deleted. I'll delete it from this entry. Nurg (talk) 00:13, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

Rfv-sense: A piece of copper, screwed into a gun, through which the venthole is bored. Notusbutthem (talk) 15:23, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
- cited, I think, by searching for it together with other gun terms found in the definition: Citations:bush. - -sche (discuss) 02:57, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
