Modern translations of quotations
[edit]Hi, @Hazarasp, when you have time, could you please check the modern English translations of Piers Plowman (I'm not sure what lybbynge means) and the 1578 quotation of John Rolland's The Seven Sages (the meaning of "Throw all the toun gart fle in alkin artis" is obscure to me), and translate the quotation from the alliterative Morte Arthure? Thanks. — SGconlaw (talk) 18:46, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
Done; lybbynge is simply "living" (← Old English libbende). gart fle is "made (to) flee". Hazarasp (parlement · werkis) 05:53, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
