Putinisation
[edit]By now there exists the words Putinisation and Putinise, see BBC article . Worthy of inclusion? Zezen (talk) 13:15, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
- Absolutely. — Ungoliant (falai) 15:24, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
OK, Ungoliant, I have just created Putinisation , see there. Zezen (talk) 21:54, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks! — Ungoliant (falai) 00:28, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
A weird claim in this article: Putinization had been added by 2014, but I could not find it before (re?)creating the term. Zezen (talk) 23:04, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
- That’s odd. None of the forms (p-, P-, -s-, -z-) had been created before. How did they come across that? — Ungoliant (falai) 00:28, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, I think I figured it out: it’s from the gloss at putinisering — Ungoliant (falai)
Pronunciation
[edit]The General American/Australian pronunciation /ˈpuːtən/ should be added. The weak vowel merger is so often ignored in transcriptions of at least GA. Sol505000 (talk) 10:55, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
