Pompej

[edit]

The genitive or vocative Pompej is mentioned in an older Greek Latin grammar, but seems to be very rare in actual texts.
Rarely the genitive Pompej does occur in Latin texts (found with "Pompej Magni", "Pompej Filius"): once it's used with Ius and hence should belong to Pompeius, once it's used with Pompeius, once with Pompejus, once with Jerusalem and Jovis, once with Justinianus and Pompejus . So it's twice a form and Pompeius and thrice of Pompejus. (Of course, there could be more results.)
The vocative could be Pompej too, but could be harder to find. -80.133.124.200 00:51, 25 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
