Nei Mongol is an official Pinyin spelling (see Zhonghua Renmin Gongheguo fen sheng dituji (Hanyu Pinyin ban) (Atlas of the People's Republic of China (Hanyu Pinyin edition). Nei should be from Mandarin but Mongol doesn't like from Mandarin. Engirst 00:07, 25 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

It's the official prescribed romanisation, not heavily used in English. You can see the references yourself if you run Google Book search. --Anatoli 05:40, 25 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
