[edit]@Fytcha how should this template look like? Something like Template:es-unadapted ? Or more specifically, Template:U:de:unadapted English borrowings? Jberkel 12:51, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Jberkel: If I were to create it right now, I'd probably name it
{{U:de:unadapted}}
but I don't have any strong feelings either way. Should I go ahead and create it? — Fytcha〈 T | L | C 〉 14:07, 17 January 2023 (UTC)- @Fytcha: If you want, otherwise I can take a look at it later. – Jberkel 14:10, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Jberkel: I've created it now. See:
- Shoppingcenter:
{{U:de:unadapted|nn|Shopping-Center}}
- Blackbox:
{{U:de:unadapted|'an|Black Box}}
- Top Ten:
{{U:de:unadapted|a'n}}
- Blackout:
{{U:de:unadapted|vp|Black-out}}

- The second parameter is necessary on pages with solidly written titles so that the module knows where the split is.
- I'm thinking about citing https://grammis.ids-mannheim.de/, too. Duden being a product of a for-profit organization leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth wrt prescriptions.
- Lastly, DWDS seems to accept Black-Box and cites §37 (E4) as the relevant rule but, as far as I can tell, that rule doesn't say anything about hyphenated spellings at all. — Fytcha〈 T | L | C 〉 12:34, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
