Common only in The Epoch Times and related media sources. Is this used elsewhere (to meet the criterion of independence)? — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 04:34, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- I don't think a newspaper would be considered a single work. Maybe if it was published by a few people who regularly meet in a living room, but these guys seem to be kind of big. According to de.wiki, the German version alone has four million readers. Anyway, I just added what was on Google Books. I can't be bothered to check if the authors are affiliated with the Epoch Times.__Gamren (talk) 15:14, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- The quotations provided look like self-published books without the physical presence or mass electronic distribution that would make them be considered durable sources. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 17:49, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- Cursed comment. Now durability depends on how many people can be believed to have bought a book? Seems an unlikely interpretation of the criteria for inclusion. Fay Freak (talk) 18:41, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- Funny, in the rfv for glownigger Google seemed to be considered the very pinnacle of durable archivedness. Now it's unreliable?__Gamren (talk) 21:00, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- Usenet, which has Google-owned archives (that appear to be neglected and falling apart. mentioned in numerous discussions as a criticism of still using Usenet, along with its lack of new activity!) != self-published books available in Google's storefront and removable at the click of a button. —Suzukaze-c (talk) 02:05, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
Five cites, is that not good enough? Passed. DAVilla 22:20, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- @DAVilla Four independent ones. Just for reference, we usually wait for a week of being "cited" before closing requests, but I'll let this be. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 01:48, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out. DAVilla 02:48, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
