- I'm not sure I understand. If this is encyclopedic, why do we have Federal Reserve? If this is sum of parts, are we supposed to have Bank of America because it doesn't mean what it implies? When I read the entry, I see plenty of room for confusion. It's not a business, but neither is it the central bank. DAVilla
