[edit]With 却 supposedly being a variant of 郤, it seems like this character would simply be an intermediate form. I can't find any Chinese/English dictionary (or even Chinese/Chinese dictionary, as far as I can tell) that supports that idea, though. — LlywelynII 15:38, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
- @LlywelynII: This website has a scan of the Zhonghua Zihai, which calls it a deformation of 却 (què). —suzukaze (t・c) 11:18, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Suzukaze-c, LlywelynII: This says it's a variant of 卻. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 07:38, 8 May 2017 (UTC)
Vietnamese pronunciation
[edit]is listed on the Chinese page, but not sure how to list that here since we usually handle our Vietnamese at their transcriptions. It also seems unsourced. — LlywelynII 15:38, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
Cantonese pronunciation
[edit]per Unicode's entry. It claims to be Jyutping, although the pronunciation template here is whining about it. Presumably they know what they're talking about and our template is just a tad broken, although it might just be purist and the transcription needs tweaking. — LlywelynII 15:38, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
- @LlywelynII: I was able to add it without any problems. —suzukaze (t・c) 11:14, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
