@Mnemosientje, Should I add the Gothic verb as πΈππΉππΊπ°π½ (ΓΎriskan) or *πΈππΉππΊπ°π½ (*ΓΎriskan)? The Verb isnβt attested but its Present participle form is, furthermore three Romance verbs Portuguese triscar, Spanish triscar and Galician triscar claim πΈππΉππΊπ°π½ (ΓΎriskan) as their etymology. π·π»πΏπ³π°π πΉπ²π π°π»π°ππ΄πΉπΊπΉπ²π²π (talk) 02:27, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Holowdig21 Hey, sorry for the delay (vacation) -- if a form of one of its participles is attested, the base verb is generally (there are exceptions: π±π»ππΈπ°ππΉπ½π½π°π½π³π (blΕΓΎarinnands) probably didn't have a matching verb *π±π»ππΈπ°ππΉπ½π½π°π½ (*blΕΓΎarinnan) so no entry for the latter was created) considered to be well enough attested to merit an entry without consigning it to the Reconstruction namespace. So you can add it without the asterisk. 10:36, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
