@Justinrleung: Thanks for catching that.

Sense added by anon 110.138.82.6 (talk) geolocating to Indonesia, in this set of edits. The anon was blocked from editing the [[geser]] page by @Surjection back in May 2022, due to disruptive edits.

I tried a quick googling of the phrase google:"あの黒子", more likely to find derogatory instances, but I'm coming up blank. There are suggestive hits like あの黒子のバスケ (ano kuroko no basuke, “that kuroko's basketball”), but the images associated with these hits consistently show non-Black people, leading me to think that the anon's added sense is bogus.

I tried but found nothing that suggests the specified sense and the surface form. The closest thing I found in Japanese sources is 黒黒子 ヘイヘイヅ (hei-hei-tzu) that is a name for Sart. [1][2] (It could be derogatory, but I'm not sure.) However, the pronunciation doesn't match and the word sounds more like Chinese than anything. On a related note, in 黑子#Chinese we have an entry for derogatory sense. As for the search phrase, google:"黒子ども" would be better at finding derogatory instances, but it lead to nothing. I've noticed a marked increase in the past few months in edits from users in the Sinosphere, adding senses to Japanese entries that I can only confirm for Chinese, not Japanese. I wonder if this is part of that trend. The IP who added the relevant sense here geolocates to Indonesia, FWIW. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │^{Tala við mig} 16:55, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
