@Suzukaze-c Shouldn't it be 穀饒 instead? — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 07:16, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
- Mm, maybe? I didn't think of it, oops 🙃 —Suzukaze-c◇◇ 07:31, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
- I think some people end up writing 谷饒 instead, like in this book, but 穀饒 makes more sense etymologically. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 07:39, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
- Indeed. —Suzukaze-c◇◇ 07:46, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Justinrleung, Geographyinitiative It's barely legible, but it seems to be 穀饒 in https://dl.ndl.go.jp/view/jpegOutput?itemId=info%3Andljp%2Fpid%2F1148304&contentNo=34&outputScale=1 (https://dl.ndl.go.jp/info:ndljp/pid/1148304/34): to the left of 關埠, which is to the left of 潮陽. —Suzukaze-c (talk) 01:01, 16 August 2021 (UTC)

Quote
[edit]@Geographyinitiative Thanks for the effort of adding that quote in. However, one, it's not really considered a durably archived source (it's probably a repost of some WeChat post), and two, it's likely originally written in Simplified Chinese, so it wouldn't tell us if it's actually 谷饒 or 穀饒. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 22:37, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
