Talk:舅仔

According to 闽南方言大词典, the Zhangzhou pronunciation of the first character of this entry exhibits no tone sandhi. However, I think this is just a typographical error, as there are multiple errors in the dictionary. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 15:21, 28 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Mar vin kaiser I don't know, but the Zhangzhou pronunciation clearly separate from the Xiamen one. Wouldn't this be too big of an error to be a typo? Also, from my understanding, I can't see any source that is saying that 舅仔 has to be the younger brother of one's wife (unless you interpret 兄弟 as younger brother, which doesn't seem to be right). — justin(r)leung { ķ(t...) | c=› } 16:14, 28 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Justinrleung I agree that it's too big of an error. That's why I purposely left the Zhangzhou pronunciation separate at first, but it just resulted in an error, since the module required that I used a "仔" every time. Regarding the "younger" brother, please look at 某舅 in the dictionary. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 16:39, 28 June 2016 (UTC)
