Adjective or noun?

[edit]

@Mglc1998, Mar vin kaiser Is this an adjective or noun? The glosses are adjectives, but it's labelled as a noun. Same with the recent related entries. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 19:30, 9 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Justinrleung: Hmmm... I'm not sure exactly, maybe both cuz my dad would usually say 你是臭魚嗎? or 你野臭魚 when someone's not listening to him. I asked him awhile ago and he said that it was means that (on the extreme end) you're deaf or (on the lower end) also could just be that you're being rudely abrupt/brusque or suplado. I also asked my cebuano fil-chi friend awhile ago what he thought of that word, and he said his mother also thinks that it means either suplado or worse case, deaf.--Mlgc1998 (talk) 20:04, 9 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Mlgc1998: I have a feeling it should be 臭耳 if it's "deaf". — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 20:06, 9 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: Hmm... I don't get the logic why it's a smelly ear but I guess that might be it too.--Mlgc1998 (talk) 20:34, 9 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung, Mlgc1998: I don't think any Filipino-Chinese would say this word with the rising-tone second syllable. I think it's just 臭耳, where the second syllable is a low flat tone. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 23:54, 9 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser: yeah, already had it requested for deletion.--Mlgc1998 (talk) 00:01, 10 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Mlgc1998: Speedied. If you place a request here, please also remember to tag the entry with {{rfd}}. Next time you create something in error, you could also use {{d}} on the entry. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 04:14, 10 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
