Add topicMin Nan, Middle Chinese
[edit]@Wyang I started editing (merging topolects) and then abandoned for now. I could do it only partially.
What do you think of Min Nan readings and notes? If they are valid, how would they fit into {{zh-pron}}
?

Min Nan bah/mah
[edit]@Wyang, could you take a look at this etymology? An IP wrote that it may come from Proto-Austronesian *babuy, but I can't seem to find any source backing that up. Also, there seems to be forms in Mon-Khmer that look similar: proto West-Bahnaric *bat (“meat; game”), *maːt (“flesh”), Katu mbɑːc (“flesh”). — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 04:44, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Justinrleung I couldn't find the source for that etymology as well; there seem to be only online discussions mentioning it, which may be where the IP got the etymology from. I think it would be better removed. Also, I think moving the (Deng, 1994) tag to after "Compare" would be more fitting (do you have full text to it btw?). Wyang (talk) 08:55, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
