Mino washi?

[edit]

@Hongthay Are you sure it's not Mino washi? TDJ says it's from Japanese, so I doubt it's the paper used for umbrellas in Meinong. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 01:27, 12 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Justinrleung I originally set it up as Mino washi...but then I saw the definition in Japanese in TDJ is also 美濃紙, which is one word off from 美濃和紙, the article title in the Japanese Wikipedia. Plus Bí-lông would be the "proper" reading of the characters 美濃. But according to THCWD Bi-long is the reading of 美濃, Kaohsiung. So I don't know. Maybe I'm taking things too literally. I think it's Mino washi, since it's highly unlikely that it's a borrowing from Japanese if it means paper from Meinong. Also see this. I can't read Japanese, but that seems to suggest it's Mino washi. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 03:15, 12 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
