Mandarin readings

[edit]

Can it be added in which contexts the various Mandarin readings are used? 71.66.97.228 22:22, 27 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

How should the characters in the "Derived characters" section be sorted?

[edit]

Currently the characters in the "Derived characters" section are sorted by what order they appear in Unicode. Should they instead be sorted by radical, or should we leave the characters sorted by what order they appear in Unicode? VulpesVulpes42 (talk) 17:30, 28 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

We don't really have any standards for the derived characters section for stuff like sorting and that. If you feel that we should have some, feel free to throw your ideas out there ^^ Chinese Wiktionary seems to sort their list by compositional nature then by radical, which is what I've been doing. However, I suppose that sorting just by radical is the most standard way to sort Chinese characters. So, any way is fine really as we don't really have any standards, and if you feel that we should have some, feel free to touch on that. Nibiko (talk) 23:22, 1 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
