- It's from 《廣州話正音字典》: （二）duk9［讀］〈文〉 dou6［渡］〈白〉，dú 用毒藥毒殺：～老鼠｜～蟲。 I added 杜 as a variant in Cantonese. Wyang (talk) 23:37, 30 September 2016 (UTC)
