Sorry to bother, but I wonder if it's possible to make the {{zh-see}} template redirect to "㩻#Etymology 2" instead of the default "㩻#Chinese" and display definitions from the relevant section? The reason I would like {{zh-see}} to link to the relevant sections is because 㩻 has three different pronunciations (qī, guì, guǐ) but the variant form statement is only relevant to the second pronunciation "guì". A suggested solution would be to add an additional parameter, e.g. |etym=2 to make it link to etymology 2 instead of the default Chinese section. Many thanks if you are able to solve this issue. - I'd love it if entries can be queried by section in a non-awkward way. Wiktionary's format sucks- there is Etymology n, Pronunciation n and even Glyph origin n, and there is no way to reference senses/sections other than with hacks. (If you haven't found out already, there's Wiktionary:About Chinese/tasks#technical, where #10 is sort of similar to this.) Wyang (talk) 03:32, 29 August 2018 (UTC)
- I see. Apparently there is a technical page for tasks related to the improvement of Chinese entries. Thanks for the info, Wyang. Since there are multiple section formats for Chinese entries, a manually entered parameter may be needed to redirect the entries to the proper section. KevinUp (talk) 09:05, 29 August 2018 (UTC)
