擲棄, 丟棄, 丟掉
[edit]@Mlgc1998 Are you sure these are used for writing the Hokkien word? Do you have a source for these forms? — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 07:12, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Justinrleung Unclear. I've looked into the kana and zhuyin again. The others can be synonyms instead, but Embree is unclear since the page displays the expected characters for Hokkien on most other entries. See sources:
- @Mlgc1998: Okay, so Embree and Maryknoll should not be used for Hokkien characters. The characters given are Mandarin translations. For 台華線頂對照典, I don't see 丟掉 used in the 台語漢羅 column. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 08:31, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Mlgc1998: As for 台日大辭典, if you look at the scan, it actually says 擲捒, so I would not put 擲棄 since it seems like the digitizer made some decisions in changing character choice, possibly due to computer input issues at the time. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 08:35, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry, I missed page 46 擲棄, but that seems to be a different word, tàn-tāⁿ. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 08:36, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
