[edit]@Mar vin kaiser Two things: 1) I can't find this word in 晋江市方言志 (in 福建县市方言志12种). 2) I don't think this would be verifiable according to WT:CFI if you chose the 2nd character. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 02:59, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Justinrleung: It's definitely there. I remember seeing it. Let me check. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 03:04, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Justinrleung: Ok, it's not in the 晋江市方言志 copy I have, but I remember seeing it in a 晋江 source, and I remember that that's when I realized that the second character was 陽上 and not 陰平. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 03:07, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Justinrleung: Do you have a copy of 晋江市志? --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 03:10, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Mar vin kaiser: No, unfortunately. I could only access it through the 福建省地方志编纂委员会 website, which doesn't work outside of China anymore, I think. Also, how would we tell if it's 陽上 rather than 陰平? Aren't they both 33 in Jinjiang? — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 03:12, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Justinrleung: Yeah, it is. I forgot what I saw in the source that made me think it was 陽上. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 03:15, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Mar vin kaiser: Right now, I can only find it in 菲律賓咱人話研究, which doesn't give characters. I just checked my university's library, and we do have a copy of 晋江市志, but I can't borrow it until it's back to normal. I'll just keep this in mind. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 03:20, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- Just another point: I have a feeling that it's somehow related to 山咩 in other dialects of Hokkien or 𬠋𧌊 in Teochew. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 03:22, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- Could be. Would you say that's a better entry to put it in? --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 03:23, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
