Talk:山番
Taiwanese
[edit]@The dog2 Do you have a source for this being used in Taiwanese? — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 14:59, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Justinrleung: Not in a video, unfortunately. I just remember that when I first visited Taiwan and we were taken to an indigenous cultural centre, the tour guide mentioned that this was how the indigenous Taiwanese were traditionally referred to by the Han Chinese, but it's been deprecated today as a racist slur, so 原住民 is now used instead as a more politically correct term.
