@Suzukaze-c What's the reason for moving 恋し and 可笑し to こいし and おかし with ja-see considering that it's unambiguous as these are the only kanji spellings and the link for the entry on こいし and おかし lead to 恋しい and 可笑しい anyway? LittleWhole (talk | 中文维基词典用户页) 14:36, 6 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

In past discussions among JA editors, there was a loose consensus to lemmatize yamato kotoba at the kana spellings, since those are generally more closely linked to the etymology than the kanji spellings. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 21:33, 6 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
That said, there has been opposition (User:MiguelX413, ...). Personally I believe it's a lot saner than trying to choose "the most common" spelling and has greater consistency. The discussions are long and somewhere. —Suzukaze-c (talk) 23:12, 6 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Ohhh, makes sense. LittleWhole (talk | 中文维基词典用户页) 00:43, 9 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
