@Fay Freak I don't know if the Arabic author is calquing anything in Armenian. If I have identified this passage in the modern Armenian translation correctly, "Armenian" here refers not to the language but to the product made in Armenia. The translation renders maḥfūr as թավշակերպ (tʻavšakerp, velvety) and maḥfūriyy as թավշապատ (tʻavšapat, velvet-covered). --Vahag (talk) 08:39, 10 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
