Do contemporary speakers ever analyse this as "bi-âb-ân", in the sense of "without water"? I realise that this is not the actual etymology, but it would make a lot of sense. 2.203.201.61 13:36, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

It seems at least someone did (don't know if it was a native speaker). But this word was given as a related terms of آب. Removed it. 2.203.201.61 13:39, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
