- @פֿינצטערניש: I see it’s one of the cases where 334a (talk • contribs) created Hebrew spellings for Syriac entries; the Syriac entry Payne Smith, Robert (1879–1901) Thesaurus Syriacus (in Latin), Oxford: Clarendon Press, column 3160, Payne Smith, Jessie (1903) A Compendious Syriac Dictionary Founded Upon the Thesaurus Syriacus of R. Payne Smith, D.D., Oxford: Clarendon Press, page 449a. I found that with certainty after getting to the entry Aramaic קפלאון (qeppalleʾōn), which is however found in Syriac books printed in Hebrew script (because Hebrew was easier to print than Syriac due to not connecting). But they preferrably would all have used
