    • Armenian origin of this Proto-Georgian-Zan werʒ₁- itself is very doubtful. To build on a new theories/etymologies on a doubtful (and the single) stuff is too much groundless. Moreover the single and unlikely equivalence in this case (I mean Geo-Zan *we-/ჳე- = Arm. յո-) is not quite enough to establish ჳე- = յո- regularities.       • It's not a single example if we accept J̌ahukyan's other parallel to which I linked above: ვერცხლი (vercxli), ვარჩხილი (varčxili) vs արծաթ (arcatʻ, “silver”). There are not many Proto-Kartvelian or Proto-Georgian-Zan borrowings from Armenian to securely establish correspondences. In any case, we list all scholarly suggestions and let the readers decide. --Vahag (talk) 15:06, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
        • There are some other barriers in this suggested ვერცხლი (vercxli) < արծաթ (arcatʻ). It's worthy to note that in Mingrelian we also have კვარჩხილი and in Laz (Artasheni subd.) ბაჩხური as well. Furthermore, in ვერცხლი//արծաթ we don't have a *we-/ჳე- = յո-, as you can see. - Abkhazian1 (talk) 16:50, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
