Usually we calque (or create something completely new) and try to replace the international word. Sometimes it works (e.g հեծանիվ (hecaniv) vs վելոսիպեդ (velosiped)), sometimes both words coexist (e.g. միջատաբանություն (miǰatabanutʻyun) vs էնտոմոլոգիա (ēntomologia)), sometimes the Armenian formation never catches on (e.g հրասայլ (hrasayl) vs տանկ (tank)). --Vahag (talk) 15:15, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
