@Vahagn Petrosyan: Compare Azerbaijani tox (dark) and Central Kurdish تۆخ (tox, dark colors).--Calak (talk) 20:59, 5 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Calak, Ačaṙean knows about Azerbaijani tox (dark), but dismisses the similarity as coincidental because it is a figurative development of tox (full, satiated), cognate with Turkish tok (full, satiated, filled). He says Armenian too has the same figurative sense, e.g. կուշտ կարմիր (kušt karmir, dak red, literally full red). The Kurdish word is borrowed from Turkic, according to Cabolov II: 416. --Vahag (talk) 15:20, 6 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. Unfortunately I can't read Ačaṙean book and all I write is my own theory. Ačaṙean and Cabolob are right here.--Calak (talk) 15:25, 6 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
