I think we should add a definition something like:

  1. (Impersonal [defective?] verb) Used in the construct <dative (pro)noun> + везёт to indicate that the indirect object is lucky or fortunate.
    Паше и Саше не везёт сегодня.

(and same for past, future, imperfective, etc...)

But seeing as this is obviously a special case, and this rule is just a guess on my part, I thought I'd ask for some second opinions.Duga3 00:55, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it’s also an impersonal verb governing the dative case that means to be lucky. Added this sense. —Stephen (Talk) 12:53, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
