How πίστα (which is a field) is connected to δακτύλιος (which denotes a circumference)? --Xoristzatziki 09:04, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

I understand your point - I put them under "See also" because they are non-etymological connections. Someone might look up "ring" (in connection with boxing or circuses - or even bullring). In English they ARE connected.
