Adverbial Expression
[edit]- Normally, in greek we would recognize κεκλεισμένων των θυρών as επιρρηματικός el:προσιοροσιμός or el:επιρρηματική έκφραση, and in french fr:locution adverbiale. Does wiktionary allow heading ===Adverbial Expression===?
- Could a philologist conifm if this is a Γενική Απόλυτος? also as in ευκαιρείας δοθείσης? I don't know the term in eng.
- Ναι, είναι. Μ'αρέσουν πολύ οι γενικές απόλυτοι! ευκαιρείας δοθείσης = "incidentally, by the way, speaking of which, while we're on the subject", σύμφωνα με translatum.gr. --Barytonesis (talk) 00:35, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
- Συγνώμη, το μήνυμά σας λανθασμένα ερμήνευσα· τη μετάφραση της "γενική απόλυτος" εννοούσατε. γενική απόλυτος = genitive absolute (ως ablative absolute). --Barytonesis (talk) 00:45, 2 December 2017 (UTC)

- Baryton! @Barytonesis: Vous etes si ... informed about greek things, and internet. Yes probably it is a gen.absolute, but it I cannot remember my school lesson 40 years ago.... I have done a bit about θύρα, ατ κεκλεισμένων των θυρών. Because, grâce à vous, χάριν υμών and χάρις σ' εσάς. P.S. Greeks do not use 'vous' at internet, because one is not supposed to know that the other person is older:)))). I am not tooo old:) sarri.greek (talk) 01:27, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
