αναψοκοκκίνησα

[edit]

@Sarri.greek I DID have difficulties with αναψοκοκκίνησα — I sourced it [here] — Saltmarsh. 04:56, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes: @Saltmarsh, the κοκκίνησα instead of κοκκίνισα is very frequent, and Georgakas is just recording it at αναψοκοκκινίζω (it is found in several texts, literature too). Of course -ίζω gives -ισα. I have also checked Kriaras [1] one of the quotations, does have an -ησα. κίνησα means "I moved something", of κινώ. So, it is a frequent misspelling since mediaeval times. The ratio @google for 3rd person past is 47,000 -ισα to 11,500 -ησα, For dependent 3rd 62,000 to 8,210... --sarri.greek (talk) 05:04, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
