So-called English word. (Definition is seen word-for-word in several other dodgy sites on the net) SemperBlotto (talk) 06:48, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- Oi. google books:"Ōyamatsumi"+"the"+"him" and the (mistaken-but-common-among-non-JA-speakers) macron-less spelling google books:"Oyamatsumi"+"the"+"him" (the latter two terms added to focus on EN works) do find enough hits to suggest that this meets CFI. That said, the JA WP article at ja:w:オオヤマツミ states that the origin and family connections of this kami are a bit muddled, with the w:Kojiki saying one thing and the w:Nihon Shoki saying another. The JA entry here at 大山積命 is a little vermasselt too -- the 命 (mikoto) on the end is a title or epithet for kami and is not part of the name, which should be just 大山積 instead.
- I haven't got much time today, but if the other JA-reading editors don't clean this up before me, I'll have a go at it. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │ Tala við mig 18:32, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
