The term exists as an adjective, meaning “destructive”. As a noun, it should mean something like ”someone who professionally deals with sediment”; it is not clear how this would come to mean “vandal hacker”. A form *cökertçi with a general sense of “vandal” would be easier to explain, but is not attested.  --Lambiam 17:54, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
