*küt-

@Ardahan Karabağ *küüd- would be *güüy- in Oghuz, but it is gü(ü)d-, so it should be from *güüt- instead of *güüd-. Same in other Turkic languages, it is not *küy- but *küt- in Kipchak and Karluk. *küdegü and *küdeč have no long vowel and they are *güyegü or *güyeç in these languages. So, *küdegü and *küdeč should be from *küd-, but gütmek is from *küüt-. I don't think that *küüt- is from *küdit- because Sakha does not point it. This makes sense, agreed. Also *tod- evolves to Turkish as doy-, *kod- evolves as koy-. Letter d turns to letter y. I forgot that. And I think the common stem should be *kü-. Ardahan (talk) 10:11, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
