Dear @Fay Freak and @Victar, /d-/ is preserved in Oghuz, but not /-d-/.

/-t-/ --> /-d-/ should have happened in case of long /u/, but long vowels do not exist in proto Turkic apart from first syllable. In any case, not all descendants are from this theoretical Common Turkic word, it doesnt make things clearer. --Anylai (talk) 15:07, 4 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
