Yeah, i thought about tower, i even wanted to add, but then decided to ask here and later i decided that i shouldn't since seems only West and East Slavic descendants does it mean but South doesn't. Also seems that Lower Sorbian doesn't mean tower too wjaža. I think it's not common at least i don't know sources where is written that in South Slavic languages it does mean "tower". Vasmer explains meaning of вежа (veža) so: house-wagon, kibitka > tent > moveable/travelling tower, tower. I guess that "hallay" came from "house-wagon, kibitka" or "tent". —Игорь Телкачь 19:37, 29 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
